MIRAMAR BOROUGH COUNCIL.
$ :—• The ordinary meeting of the Council was held lust night. ■ There wore present the Mayor (ATr. C. .T. Crawford), and Councillors Bell, M'Lcod and East. Twenty-eight residents petitioned the Council to keep on the 7.1G a.m. car. The petition was referred to the Tramways Committee. The Wellington llnrbour "Board forwarded n copy of a plan of the proposed reclamation tit. Evans Gay, also a report theron. Consideration of the matter was hold ovor until next meeting. Accounts wore passed for payment as follow District Fund Account, '.£7O 19s. 3d ; Tramway Loan Account, .EU2B IGs.
