To Auto station, together with iti contents and tho adjoining stables, were ■completely destroyed by fire.' The shod contained w001,,-miscellaneous -machinery, and a 6-h.p. steam engine, all of which wero lost. Sonio harness was rcscuod from the stables, and the, horses wero taken out uninjured. Tho origin of the fire is unknown, but tho outbreak is attributed to rats. Tho National Insurance Company held a risk of £500 or tho building, but the loss is estimated at £1500.
