A tobacco war is raging between growors and dealers at Hoskinston, Leslie County, Kentucky. Four hundred armed and masked men attacked tho city, imprisoned all tho police and firemen, and burned several tobacco factories. They fusilladed tho houses of dealers and destroyed £40,000 worth of property. A party of pursuers oxchanged shots, but the marauders, who aro believed to be tobacco growers, escaped. It is reported that the manager of the Imperial Tobacco Factory was whipped to death.
