All tho available police havo been sent to Zululand, as Dinizulu, tho 'p aramouu,; chief, is suspected of duplicity. London, November 28. Twenty thousand oxcitcd natives met in Lagos and protester! against the Government expropriating private dwellings for the purpose of erecting official buildings. They havo appealed to Lord Elgin, Secretary of State for tho Colonies. Dinizulu's loyalty has been tho subject of suspicion on several occasions, particularly in connection with Bambaata's rebellion, and suspicions were not'altogether allayed by Dim-| Zulu's subsequent reference to the lato rebel chief as "that dbg Bambnata." For some time Natal militia officers havo been under orders to be ready for instant service. \ cablegram received yesterday stated that a native outbreak in.Lagos, tho British colony nnd protectorate on the Guinea coast of Africa, had resulted in th'o death of a European officer and tho killing or wounding of thirty native soldiers: Tho grievance of tho natives in this case was being compolled to make roads.
