AUCKLAND AGRICULTURAL SHOW.
(by telegraph—special correspondent.) Auckland, Novomber 28.. The Auckland A. and P. Association's summer show opens to-morrow, and promises to bo a record success. Owing to the institution of a winter-show there will be no competition in dairy factory butter, but even without tho largo total of entries in that section, this year's total is a substantial increaso on that of last year. Tho show of horses will undoubtedly be the largest and finest yetseenin Auckland, and there will bo exceptionally good competition in tho riding and driving contests. The shcop section is attracting more interest this year, owing to the fact that a number of new breeders, including several well-known prizetakers at southern shows, arp entering tho lists, while the cattlo section also promises some keen competition. It is interesting to note that Auckland's list of horses, 620, is tho largest of any. show in the Dominion, except Wauganui, which had 627, thero beiug 266 at Manawatu. and' 460 at Cbristchnrch. In 'cattle, Auckland heads the list with 250, as against 197 at TVanganui, 222 at Manawatu, and 230 at. Canterbury show. In tho sheep seotion, however, the other shows ue ahead of Auckland,
