The election, of Hospital and Charitable Aid Boards took place yesterday, tho now Boards being constituted as follows:— WELLINGTON AND WAIRARAPA CHARITABLE AID BOARD. Representatives of Wellington City Council :—iUossrs. M. Murdoch, I\ Cohen, D. iU'Larcn, and W. H. Morrah. Hutt County Council, Horowhenua County Council, and Levin Borough Council:—Mr. R. C. Kirk. Onslow, Karori, Petone, Lower Hutt, Jliramar, and Eastbourne Borough Councils:—Mr. A. Coles (Petono), All these wero re-elected. Tho Wairarapa returns will bo announced to-day. ) HOSPITAL BOARD. Representatives of Wellington City Council—Messrs. J. P. Luke, J. Godber, M. Murdoch (reflected), and V. Smith (succeeding Mr. G. Frost). Hutt County Council—Mr. F. T. Moore (succeeding Mr. R. Bould). Horowhenua County Council and Levin Borough Council—Mr. R. 0. Kirk (reelected). , < Lower Hutt and Petone Borough • Councils—Mr. J. W. M'Ewan, Mayor of Petone, a new member. Onslow, Karori, Miramar, and Eastbourne Borough Councils—Mr. C. J. Crawford, Mayor of Miramar. Tho election'of tiro new Hospital Trustees will take place on Monday next at the Committee , room, City Council Chambers, at 11 p.m. AUCKLAND. [by telegraph.—press association.] November 27. The membership of tho new Hospital and Charitable Aid Board elected to-dav is now eleven instead of ten. Thero are three new members on the Board—Messrs. E. H. Davies, M. J. Coyle (who replaces Mr. W. R. Bloomfield), and Mr. Samuel Schoficld (who replaces Mr. John Fitt). The' Board consists of tho following eleven members:—Messrs. L. J. Bagnall, P. M. Mackay, C. Grey, George Knight, E. H. Davies, S. Scbolield, A. Bruce, .A. Sturgcss, J. G. Rutherford, J. Jenkin, and M. C. Coylo. COUNTY CHAIRMEN. Mr. William Galloway, of tho Horokiwi riding, was yesterday elected chairman of the Hutt County Council for the ensuing year. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Nelson, November 27. Councillor Philip Best was unanimously reelected'chairman of the Waimea County Council for the third year in succession! Reefton, November 27. Mr. E. J. M'lnroo has been elected chairman of tho County Councl. Auckland, November 27. Mr. V. 1 Kerr Taylor was to-day elected chairman of tho Waitemata County Council, defeating the retiring chairman (Mr. J. 11. O'Neill) by three votes to two. (BY TELEGRAPH—SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.) Palmerston North, November 27. The election of chairmen for tho various County Councils has resulted as follows:— Majiawatu, Mr. G. J. Wilson; Kairanga, Mr. C. Voss; Kiwitea, Mr. J. Carman; Pohangina, Mr. Brown; Oroua, Mr. G. Wheeler. Marton, November 27. Mr. R. ,K. Simpson was re-elected chairman of the Rangitikci County Council to-day.
