.The British rifle team put up a world's record in -tho match against South Australia. With ten men, they averaged 100.2 per man under Kolapore Cup conditions.
Sergt. \V. Tatlow r.vig on possibles at 500 and 600 yards, . while Armourcr-Ser-geant A. J. Comber registered a similar feat at 200 and 500 vards.

Armourer-Serst. A. J. Comber won the King's Prize at Bisloy in 1305, with 315 points, lie has six lung's, badges in his possession, having won thorn in 1835. 1901, 196*. 190.1. 1905, and 1906. He was eighth in the Grand Aggregate in inOO, with 318 points, or rcren beloir the winner. He has won many prizes at Bisley. Sorgt. W. Tatlow was n substantial winner in July at Bisley, being third in St. George's final stage; and at the 1.90 C Bisley meeting was third in the King's, being only four points behind tho winner; fifth in the Grand Aggregate, and -fourth in All-Comers' Aggregate. He is a seasoned shot, having got into tho prize-list of the King's as early ns 1887, n. feat he has performed nine times since then.
The captain of tho British rifle team claims J-lmt -the team lost tho Umpire Match in New South Wales through firing, in error, at wrong targets.- The cablegrams pent at the time stated that the. team lost 12 noitvts in this way. The aggregates in the Empire Match 'wore: Australia, 2101; New Zealand, 5050; Britain, 2053. -'
