' BROUGHAM HILL CLUB. The second round of tho two handicap events are noiv well under way, and the following matches must bo completed Wore Friday :—
Men's—Quinnell v. Clarke, Kirkei , v. Maddox, Sampson v. Lindsay, ,1. W. Williams v, Veen, Edwards v. A. It. Williams, and Fell v. J. A. B. Howe.
Ladies'—Miss Crisp v. Miss Mitohinson, Miss Hurley v. Mrs. Howe (W; 13.), Mrs. Lindsay v. Miss Powell.
' As Saturday next is the date fixed for tho annual picnic-, of the Victoria College students, arrangements aro being made whereby all matches in which the College is drawn are to be postponed until a date agreed upon by trio clubs concerned. Tho following matches, therefore, will not take place on Saturday:— Cup—Karori v. College Pennant—Col lego Av. B.
Racquet—Brougham Hill B v. College B. An effort will also be made to liavo tho Shield fixture against Wellington played at a, later date. :
The only match to lie decided at Day's Bay this week will be the Kacquet fixture Muritni v. Kilbirnic on Nos. 1, 5, and 9. Tho former aro loading in this competition, with Kilbirnie as ono of the ruuuers up, and an even contest should result, with Muritai as tlio ultimate winner.
