At the Supreme Court yesterday Mr. Justice Button hoard an aspect of the case of Philip Henry Gosso, carrier, Lower Hutt, v. Fredk. Geo. Bollon,- solicitor, Wellington, and Jno. Sidney Swan, architect, Wollmgton, an action arising out of a part-nership-dispute. Tho plaintiff was called upon to show cause why ho should bo ordered to file more explicit particulars in his statement of claim than those "iven Mr. A Blair (Skerrett and Wylio), on behalf or the defendants, supported a summons asking the Court to direct tho furnishing of moro exact particulars. Mr. Alexander Dunn, for tho plaintiff, opposed the summons. His Honour granted an order for further particulars, with one guinea costs. DELAY OF BUSINESS. Mr. Justice Button again referred yest-er-day to the delay caused to the civil business of thoy Supremo Court owing to solicitors and cljents not being prepared to go to trial. He said he wished it to bo distinctly understood that lie was very much dissatisfied at finding that counsel and tho parties were not ready, as it entailed a great loss of time. Undefended divorce cases were to bo lieard that morning, but there wore no cases forthcoming. Ho wished it to be understood that if' the \ parties wero not ready tho cases would be struck out. '

It appears clear that His Honour is determined to proceed with tho hearing of undefended divorco cases when the Court sits, at ten o'clock this morning.
