GENERAL FARM NEWS.
A Forty Mile Bush dairy-farmer affirms that many men on the land in that district had n bad time during the winter and early spring through over-stocking and niiliung right up to the last. Tho result wus that the cows wore badly nurtured, and, says our informant, they died in hundreds. Hay was not to bo had for lovo or money. It is ovident that in the Bush districts, us in ninny portions of the Wairarapa, the dairymen will have to consider much more seriously than formerly the question of providing an adequate- food supply for thoir stock.
