RIFLE SHOOTING.

Rifle Club held its second competition for the No. 2 championship aggregate, for. which trophies have ocen presented to'A class by Messrs'." G. 'Cudby, E. P.-Bunny and-W. H. Cook, and to B class by Messrs. 'C. Hollard, L. V>. Ludwig, and A. Ballinger. Tho weather, was .almost, perfect for shooting. The conditions pf the match'wero seven shots at 200, 500, and 000 yards. H.' Hawthorn put on tho "possible" at.500 yards, and finished with tho exceptionally fine score of 99 points out of a possible 105.' 'A'. Ballinger also put on a good score, 95 points.
