On the Basin Reserve to-morrow tho Port Nicholson and Civil- Service Amateur Athletic Clubs will hold a combined evening meeting. The programme consists of a mile runuing handicap, a long jump, and a sevonty-five yards sprint, in which.Mr. H. Henderson, luo crack sprinter, will compete. The meeting is free of charge to the public, and it is to bo hoped that the spectators, will not encroach on tho ground, as tliey liaye done at these meetings la the put.
