AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION.
The Feilding A. and P. Association at its last meeting received from the Wanganui Education Board an invitation to contribute toward the salary of Jlr. Jas. Grant, supervisor in agriculture-for the Board. The bal-ance-sheet of the school and special classes in agriculture, which was enclosed, showed that the estimated loss to August 31 was £107 9s. Bd. _ It was resolved .to reply that the Association is' already • helping the cause by .giving prizes for school garden competitions, and it could not see its way clear to mako any further contribution.
