This evening, at the Opera House, there i B promise of an exceptionally fine exhibition of boxing and wrestling. The principal event of tho evening will be the contest between J bod froy (of Auckland) and T. Ilanlev (of Now South Wales) for the featherweight championship of tho Dominion. Tho bout will extend over 15 rounds, and should provide an exciting sot-to. ])oth men have won distinction in tho ring, bnth are in excellent condition, and their respective supporters look forward with confidence to the result. As a preliminnrv event T. M'Gibbon, laic of New South Wales, ami now of this city, will indulge in a six-round spar with T. Tracey, the Dominion lightweight champion, and there will also bo a wrestling exhibition by Messrs. A. Skinner and C. E. Stophons, of tho local police force. The booking has beon heavy, and a crowded house Is looked forward to.
