Mr. Macilonald said that his colleaguo and himself would ho very glad to be assisted by any persons who had in their possession portraits, documents, or other memorials relating to Speakers of tho Council. They hoped to make the beginning of a series of historical remembrances of mon who had taken a leading part in tho proceedings of Parliament, and they would be grateful for any assistanco from members and tho public.
