SECONDARY SCHOOLS' SHOOTING COMPETITION.

The annual shooting competition for the secondary schools of iNew Zealand will tako place during tho latter part of the current month. The Wellington schools eligible for tho competition • are tho Wellington College and St. Patrick's College. Tho former competes, annually, but so tar St Patrick's Collogo has not been represented. The match is open to one team of ten bona-fido pupils from each secondary school. Tho conditions aro seven shots, and one compulsory sighter, at 200 and 500 yards. Target registers are to bo forwarded- to the hon. secretary,-Captain R.-A. M'Cullough, Otngo Boys' High School, not later than December 5.
