At Mount Cook Police Court yesterday, before Mr. T. S. Lambert, J.P., George Hastings was .charged , with drunkenness, and was fined.4os. or 14 days! imprisonment. Two first offenders, arrested for drunkenness, who had boon bailed out, but failed to appear, each Had their 10s. bail, estreated. A first offender, who pleaded guilty to insobriety, was convicted and discharged. ■
