MAORI MISSION BOARD.
$ Tho annual meeting of the Anglican Maori Mission Board was held in tho Diocesan office yesterday. There was a large attendance of delegates, including the Primate, Bishop Ncvill, of Dunedin, who presided; Bishops Wallis (Wellington), Julius (Christchurch), and Mules (Nelson); and tho following other Diocesan representatives:—The Rev. A. If. Johnson and Mr. W. P. Jacob' (Wellington), Archdeacon Harper and the Rev. '1. Hamilton (Christchurch), Canon MacMurrav and Mr. Percy Smith (Auckland), Canon Unkc and Mr. J. Thornton (Waiapu), and Mr. A. Hamilton (Dunedin). The chief business before tho meeting, which commenced in the morning and finished in tho afternoon, was to receivo tho report and bal-ancc-sheet for tiie past year, presented by the executive, and to distribute the funds availablo in block grants to the various Dioceses. A subcommittee was appointed to obtain information as to the amounts contributed by the Maoris themselves for tho purposes of the Mission, aud to ascertain what sums were accruing to each Dioccse from endowments and trusts.
