A Court of Inquiry at Chelsea investigated the allegations of Lieutenant Woods, of the second battalion of tho Grenadier Guards, that, becauso he was more studious than others, his career had been impeded owing to his superiors boycotting him, hoping tint 113 would resign. Tho depositions hnvo boen forwarded to the general commanding tho division for decision. REBUTTING EVIDENCE, (Rccoived Nov. 20, 10.45 p.m.) London, November 20. General Charles Fergusson, in Lieutenant Wood's cane, submitted strong rebutting ovidonco on bohalf of the officers.
