Just tho reverse has been decided on at Wairarapa. Tho rule is to the effect that "N(> horses that are in training for racing purposes are allowed to compote in any of tho hack classes." ' .' "Tho reason for the passing of this rule," said a prominent official, "was mainly to prevent high-conditioned, stable-led racehorses and others of the kind to compete against animals of ordinary feeding.
