' BSpacially Written for The Dohinios.) THURSDAY. . _ Milk Soup. , Roast Beef,. Yorkshire Pudding, Horso ■ Radish, Boiled Cucumber and Sauce, New Potatoes, Caramel Custard. YORKSHIRE PUDDING. Ingredients.—}lb. flour, ono egg, J pint of inilk, salt. Method.—Put the flour and salt into a ba«in;' then break the egg and add half the • niilk. Beat this for five or ten minutes, and then add the rest of the milk; put an ounce of dripping in a small baking tin; or, bettor still, pour into the tin several tablespoonfuls of dripping from under the ; beef that is baking. Stir the batter and pour it into tho tin that ha 3 the dripping in it and bake it in a Moderate oven for about half an hour. Cut it into squares, and serve with the roast beef. FOR TO-MORROW. Ingredients. — Vegetarian Dinner: Rice, cheese, fruit, milk, potntoes, onions. Soak a pint of haricot beans in cold water with a pinch of soda in it, cream (if liked), vermicelli, spinach, or some other green vegetable.
