THE SYDNEY TRAGEDY.

' WHAT WAS THE CAUSE? BT MI.EGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION —COrYBIGHT. (Roc. Nor. 19, 0.38 a.m.) ! Sydney, November 18. With regard to the tragedy at tho Hotel Motrcrpolo, where a Cowra solicitor, named Lestor King, murdered his wife and then committed suicido, after leaving a letter referring to his wife in endoaring terms, it is understood that the Kings came to Sydney in order that the wife, who had an oldstanding complaint, might enter a private hospital. Failing any oluo, it is now suggested, as a possible solution of tho mystery, that tho thought of this trouble and the attendant expense, preying on thoir minds, led to the tragedy. Early in tho day Mrs. King had arranged to meot her sister, and, when found dead, was fully dressed in her going-out clothes.
