APPOINTMENT FOR TARANAKI
At a meeting _of the Taranaki - Farmers' Union, Mr. Doddie (Eltham) said the.branch had discussc-d for about three- years • tho question of appointing an organiser, but had', wvi definite ' scheme.. Both Auckland, and Wellington provinces; wera achieving good results by having organisers, and he was satisfied Taranaki 'should also have such an officer. Ho moved that imme* cuate steps be taken to appoint an organiser tor the Taranaki. province. Ihe motion was seconded by>.Mr. Davidson (Hawera), and carried unanimously, i i » a A fi l la , llr r ® so ked that ; £2oo per annum be allotted for the joint offices secretary' and organiser; and Messrs. .:Naughton •(provincial secretary) and Cattanach (Mutual .v J.'ire Insurance representative)' accepted- the' positions for six months as from' December 1 nest. . ■
