EXPENDITURE AND RECEIPTS FOR 1906-7, The receipts and expenditure in connection with the Wereroa State farm for tho year ended March 31 last, were laid on the table of tho House- on Friday. Tho oxpensos total £4,185 18s. lid. Tho overseer's salary accounted for £140, wages, meals, etc., £2038 15s. sd;, tools and implements £582 os. 6d, purchase of stock'£226 7s. Ud,,seed and plants £206 18s. 2d., household requisities £111 4s. 6d., meals to visitors £10. The receipts are £1769 10s. 6d. The sale of produco contributed £149 16s. 4d., cream ■and milk £534, salo of cattle £394 10s. 4d., pork £286, horses, £52, and ..sundries. £52. A return was also. submitted showing the receipts and ~Qxpendituse on.; tal farms for the last- five years. Last year's figures were as follows:— Bickerstaffo expenditure, £2655 16s. 10d.; receipts, £626 os. od.; Wereroa, expenditure, £4185 18s. lid.; receipts, £1769 10s. 6d.; Moumahaki, expenditure, £3653 10s.; receipts, £1433 3s. lid; Ruakura, expenditure, £6527 17s. 9d.; receipts £1645 18s. 6d.; Waerenga, expenditure, £5503 25.; receipts, £6SI 14s. 4d.; Waerenga vineyard, expenditure, £897 10s. 2d.; rceipts, £230 Is. 5d.; Aratoki, expenditure, £956 Bs.; receipts, £7 145.; Tauranga, expenditure, £397 14s. 9d.; receipts nil. Totalled, tho expenditures on all the farms amount to £24,777 18s. Bd,, and the receipts, £6394 3s. Id., which leaves a deficit of £18,353 15s. 7d. for the year.
