The first heats of tho Senior and Junior Fours raced under the auspices of the Star, Boating Club resulted as follows:—Seniors— Bayfield (stroke),'Turnbull (3), Smythc (2), Uirdlostomi (how-), Bulkley (cox), beat Wilkinson (st.), W. H. Brewer (3). Suckling (2) Robertson (how), by threo lengths, third place being assigned to Johnson (st), Kerslako (3), "ft. M. Brewer (2), Brown (bow). In_ tho Junior Fours, Wilkinson (st.), H. D. Bridge (3), Coradine (2), llobieson (bow), boat Turner's crow.
