The Chairman (Mr-. H. B. Sorenson) resigned his position as .chairman for the reason that tho staff would not obey his instructions, and the resignation was accepted, Mr. P. Board being appointed to tho presidency. A liotico of motion that the- services of the matron and sub-matron should.be dispensed with was hold over for consideration at a special mooting. The matron in a letter to the Board expressed regret at not being ablo, for conscientious reasons, to carry out tile Chairman's instructions to hand the girl over.
