FATAL EXPLOSION.
TWO DEATHS. TRAMCAR BOILER BURSTS. W. TELEGRAPH—rRESS ASSOCIATION —COFTRIGHT. . ; . (Rec. Nov. 11, 6. 42 p.m.) Sydney, Novembor 11. ■ A "boiler oh a steam tramcar at Concord (a .suburb of Sydney) exploded to-day with disastrous results. Two tramcars pulled up to exchange staffs. Suddenly tho. boiler of one of them exploded with,a deafening roar, the force of tho explosion blowing the engino's tank thirty yards away. - MiCullough, the driver; of one engine, was killed instantly. Bnrolay, the driver of tho other, succumbed at the hospital. The. conductor and several passengers were severely scalded. Two wero removed to the hospital. ' I TERRIFIC FORCE. 1 . (Reo. Nov. 12, 0.55 a.m.). Sydney, November 11. M'Cullough, tho engine driver of the exploding boiler," was'shockingly mutilated. His head was found 30 yards from the scene, , and other parts were -blown 70 yards away,-. One passenger was hurled 20 yards. The engine which blew up was splintered to fragments.
