The first meeting this season of the Umpire's Association was held in Armit's Rooms last night, Mr. A. F. Wircn in the chair. Several new members \vero elected;' including several senior players. The following officers

P. Firth, 11. Alpe, W. E. Bethune, W. P. M'Girr, C. E. Stevens, A. Ashbolt, and T. R. : Ronaldson; chairman, Mr. J. Varnham; secretary and treasurer, Mr. D. M'Kenzio; examination committee :• Messrs. D. M'Keny.io, A. P. Wiren, and W. R. Bock. It was decided fo meet fortnightly, on the Tuesday after the meeting of the Cricket Association. The next meeting-will'be held on Tuesday, November 5.
