Nicholas Baxter, who was convicted of murdering Mrs. Macnariiara at Enrhorc, a suburb of Sydney, was executed to-day. Death was instantaneous. Tho murderer broke into his victim's house in order to rob her, and, according to his awn confession, battered her head in .with a stick, because she would not keep quiet.
