The policemen went to the laundry to investigate a complaint by a young woman employed by. the Chinamen that her watch had been stolen. The-. One of the policemen was knocked unconscious before the Chinamen were overcome arid handcuffed. Teo Lung was sent to prison for five w : eeks and Yu Yuen for threo weeks'.
