The committee of this association mot in Woodvillc on.-Thursday, Mr. K. E. Bcattie, viccrprosident, in the chair...'A. list of; questions was received from the secretary;of the Agricultural Conference, concerning the various grasses, and it was decided to circulate thorn among Various farmers in the district. The Conference' also .'asked for. £2 2s. toward the expenses, and. it.-nns; determined, to nay this when iii .funds, although members felt it. was a heavy levy for thp smaller associations compared 'witli £3 3s. on tho.larger, ones. Mr. J. Swi-cney, :,Pahiatua, wrote accepting the position on the committee ,to which-ho had been elected at the last meeting, also sending , in a list of ten new members whom he had secured. -Mr. A. K Anderson wrote resigning membership on account of leaving tho: district, and it was determined to fill his place at the next meeting of tho committee; A sub-committee to draw up the schedule for the .noxti show was set. up. .and it was resolved, to hold over Mr. Harding's motion to abolish the milking competition till next mooting.
