WELLINGTON AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB. Tho nineteenth annual roport to bo prosented at the animal meeting of tho Wellington Amateur Athletic Club states thattho prospects for the coming spason aro very promising, and results are oxpected to show that the number of active athletes will be materially increased, and tho high standard sot of late years fully maintained. The r. nberchip of the club is now 120. Tho club was represented by tho following at tho Now Zealand championship meeting held in Christchurch :—Messrs. J..H. Prendevillo, E. E. I'isher,H. KcnyL.'B. Webster, W. II Pollock, F. W. B. Goodbehore, W. Gosling, J. Wilton, H. Henderson. Counting thirds, members of the club gained 38 points out of (ih. The evening meetings held during the year were very successful,-.and: the autumn carnival brought forward record entries for nearly every .'event. ■ Provincial championship honours were gamed for the club by Messrs. Henderson (100 and 220' yards), Fisher (4<IO yards), Halligan (120 hurdles), Kcrr (milo walk), the latter putting up a record for this distance. Challenge cups for tho season wcro won as fol\ows:—Mr.VH. D. Boll's Cup —Mr. H. T. Thompson; Mr. J. Duthie's Cup —Mr; R. Bridge; Mr. Tripp's Cup—Messrs. Thompson and W. Gosling; Mr. D: Nathan's Cup—Messrs. Thompson, M'Kcnzio, Brewer, and Brace; Mr. L. Blundcll's Cup: Inter-Col-lcgc—St. Patrick's College; Mr. L Bhmdcll's Cup; Inter-Schools—To Aro School (Hall-Kenny). Tho balance-sheot shows a credit of £9 18s, and the balance of assets over liabilities is £102 os 6(1.
