We are informed that this provision hi never been enforced in the Dominion. <a. we have been unable to obtain evidence 1 action ever having been taken under U similar clause in the Gaming and Lottern Act. It is stated "that no" pressure has evi been brought to bear upon the Postal Uepar ment in any instance to refuse delivei of correspondence, and therefore the provisioi have never been put into effect. It was proposed somo time ago to deny tel phone rights to Wellington, bookmakers, bi tho threat was never carried' out.
