• There.was«a very fino gathering of young meii at the : Bible Class in the' Y.JLC.A. , lloonis on Sunday afternoon, when Mr.Lyman L.Pierce was present, and gave a very helpful and inspiring talk, taking as the subject of his addross the story of the rebuilding of the walls, of, Jerusalem .under the leadership of Nqheiniali. At tlie strangers-tea that fol-v lpwed there were- also a : great many present, the tables, as usual, being most tastefully laid and beautifully.decorated with flowers., lil. extending a hearty welcome to - Mr. Pierce, tho Chairman (Mr. J. Ilott) ' briefly referred ' to',' tho ■ invaluablo < help ho had .been onabled to 'givoi-.to Association work in , Australasia' and New Zealand, particularly in connection with tho ■■■ recent new building campaigns. On behalf of tho strangers' 'Tea Committeo, the Chairniaa requested Mr. Tierce to convey hearty fraternal greetings to like committees of kindred Associations wliom he might visit.. In an interesting address, Mr. Pierce expressed thanks for the very, cordial ..welcome accorded hini... '■ -' ' .
