During the debate on the tariff in the Federal Houso of Representatives, Mr. Glynn foreshadowed the moving of an amendment in the direction of the removal of preference to Great Britain. ■' The Hon. Patrick McMahon Glynn, 8.A.,' LL.B., is a leading freetrader, and was formerly a member of tho Assembly of South Australia,'being Attorney-General in that State for eight days in. December, 1899. In 1897 he was a South Australian delegate to the Federal Convention.
