Tho headquarters of the canvass, in Messrs. Nathan and Co.'sl buildings, Foatherstona Street, presented a scone of much; activity last evening. Over a dozen young men were hard at work making lists of, citizens, drawing'up cards for the canvassers, and addressing some hundreds of circulars inviting members and friends of tho Association to attond a, "rally" for supper in its rooms at halfoast nine o'clook to-night. At.this "rally,'* Mr. Lyman L. Tierce, Organising Secretary jf tho Y.M.C.A.'s of Australia and New Zealand ,will outline,tho plans made for the last three days of tho campaign. 7. Tlio oontrihu;ions raised by thoir first effort, prior to tho joramoncomorit. of the • building campaign, roro to bo paid in periodical instalments ■overing a period of two years. Tho. final )ayment under that arrangement is being nado this year. In the present campaign, the young men lavo raised £154 135., and citizens '£1964 25., ncluding Mrs. William's gift.
