Crawford), and Councilors Bell, M'Lood and Chase-Morris ' Ihe Mayor was appointed tho Council's dolegato at the annual meeting of local bodies' delegates'held to olect trustees of tho Wellington District Hospital; i On tho reco'pimendation qf tho Tramways Engineer, it r as, decidcd to mako certain alterations in tho -stopping-places on tho Matai Road. r _ Tho Council decided to ask tho Tramway Engineer whether ton cars could bo accomodated at Miramar North terminus, and, ir nofc, what it would cost to mako thcnccd* sary provision for their accommodation. 1 Mr. W. R. Jourdain suggested tho advisableness of running a car on Sunday mornings.. Tho letter was referred to die Tramways Committee with a recommendation that tho suggestion bo adopted.In connection with tho proposal to lignt TVorser Bay Hill, tho., City .Council wrote stating that the capital cost, of lighting TO additional chains of roadway would bo £81 The letter was received, but no action \vl< taken. , \ The Wonderland Company, applied for a' license for their grounds. This was-granted on tho usual terms. Permission was granted to the company to ■ open the grounds on Sundays on condition that only band performances aro given and tho tea rooms opened. Councillor M'Leod dissented from tho latter motion. Accouuts wero passed for payment as follows: District fund account, £203 10s ■ tramways loan account, £99 Us. 9d '
