Hull’s Talkies

In the picture world, among the greatest hits of the day are the Musicals, and Universal, in accord with the times, brings to the screen one of the most satisfying and magnificent Musicals yet produced. This is “Moonlight and Pretzels” a great musical romance, and it will be screened by Mr Hull this week. It presents glorious girls, numerous song bits, and a feast of beauty and magic music. The cast includes Mary Brian, Roger Pryor, Lillian Miles, and Leo (Janllo. The picture consists of several spectacular revue numbers in addition to numerous comedy sketches, and dance and novelty specialities. The world to-day is in the mood for music and this film presents it. Briefly it bubbles over with surprises, is brimful of beauty and the audience will leave whistling its songs and jigging its dances. It is clean wholesome gaiety.
