Fat Sheep.—There was a small entry for a double market, 3780 being forward. Extra prime woolly wethers to 33 s 9d, prime woolly to 30s, medium 24s tq 265, extra heavy shorn wethers to 29s 9U. prime 25s to 275/ Od, medium 22s to 245. light 18s to heavy woolly ewes to-28s, prime 24s to 26s Od, medium 21s to 235, light from 17s upwards, heavy shorn ewes to 23s Od, prime 20s to 22s f medium 16s to 19s, light from 12s upwards. Fat Lambs.—There was a fair sized entry, 317 being forward. As the nuin* ber offering was in excess of buteherts’ requirements prices were easier from 2S per head on last sale’s rates*. Extra prime heavy lambs to 29s (\l, prime 24s to 265, medium 21s to 235, TTght. from 18s upwards. hat Pigs.—There was a medium entry of Both fats and stores. Fat pigs were easier by about 2s Od pert head on last sale’s rates, while stores showed a drop of is, ()ats. The market is quiet, very fr&.o business passing at present. ‘A’ grade Gartons are bringing up to is iod on trucks country sidings. Potatoes.—Fair quantities are still held in store and the demand is very quiet. Prime freshly picked lines are bringing up to £3 ex rail Dunedin. Chaff.—There is a fair quantity still held in store and the demand is quiet, prime bright oaten sheaf bringing up to £3 12s Od ex rail Dunedin, Wheat.—Practically all Milling \\ heat has now changed hands, and trie market is quiet at present. Good whole quality is bringing up to 3s ijd ex rail Dunedin. Sheepskins:^ $-bred (nil-wools to 83, d, i-bred halfwools to Oijd.
