Cromwell Swimming Club

liio above club held a very successful carnival on Saturday, nth February, the numerous events attractiny large entries ol competitors from all parts, Alexandra and Pembroke bcuiy well represented. The many novelty events proved a big attraction lor the large gathering of spectators. Special features of the afternoon were an exhibition swim by Mr J. Byrnes, Dunedin, and a novelty turn by Mr Dgilvy, from Queenstown. A firstclass musical programme was provided by the Cromwell Brass Baud.
