That old Mrs. Tgglns Is a lot better. I’m glad, though all that time I spent doing up me black dress was wasted. Some butcher left a joint at my ’ouse last Saturday, by mistake. I’ve been quite ’onest about it —I’ve saved the hone for 'im. Ain’t arf a little misery that kid next door, 'B wasn’t very well so 'is mother bought ’im some lovely ice cream an’ chocolate an’ fish and chips. Even then ’e wasn’t ’appy. My old man ’ad two bob put by towards 'is ’olidays. But, would you b’lieve it, last week-end ’e went off and squandered the lot.
