The Club held the weeklv shoot on July 25th, when P. Mitchell and F. Middleton tied for Mr Jarvis's trophy with 78. Mr Mitchell won the shoot off with. 77. F. Middleton 75. Railway beat Cromwell in the six-a-side teams shoot, the scores being as follows:

Mitchell. Captain Hunt, of Dunedin Defence Forces, was present and gave a short address on "Rifle Shooting," which was much appreciated. The next shoot will be held on Thursday, Aug-ust Ist. for a medal donated |jv Mr C. Collins.
