Railway Rifle Club
The weekly shoot of Cromwell Railway Miniature Club, was held on July nth, when a trophy presented bv Mr Perry was won by Mr Yv. Veint. The principal scores were- - \\. Veint 75, A. Hughes p, W. Bell 71, R. Orr 65, R- Bramley 65. JDennison 63, G. McLachlan 62, J. Boyes 62, J. Webb 61. On Julv 18th, the members of the club competed! for a trophy donated u, Mr F. Conn, which was won by xvir F. Vercoe. The scores for the evening were:—F. Vercoe 75 : D, vicol 74, R- Bramley 72. F. Middledoii 71, W. Bell 7 u R. Bell 7,, A. Hujrhes 70, G. McLachlan 70, J. .oyes 60, V. Scheib 69; J. Dennison ,; W. Veint 68, H. Long 67, A. ewar 65, L. J. Anderson (12, E. Lynch 46. , \ general meeting of the club was held on the range when gratification expressed on the prosperous condition of the club. It was decided to donate a trophy for the first off the rifle, also on the highest aggregate score off the rifle for -. number of nights shooting, to be -Wided on bv the Management Committee. The} following were elected as a Management Committee: Messrs G. Henderson, W. Bell, R .Orr, L. J. Anderson, J. S. Dennison, and G. McLachlan. It was decided to hold the next competition shoot on Thursday, July 25th, for a trophv donated by Mr Jarvis.
