Stronach Morris Report: Fat Cattle—There was a fail entry, 180 being forward., consisting mostlv of medium quality bullocks, ant! 'heifers, with a. few pens ol prime cattle. Competition was keen and prices were firmer all round than those ruling at the last sale. Extra prime bullocks to ,£24 17s 6d. prime £"18 to £2O, medium to good £\6 to j£ic). light from £l3 upwards. Extra prime cows and heifers to £l6 12s 6d, prime ,£l3 to £l4 10s, medium £\\ to £l2 10s, light from £() upwards. . Fat Sheep—There was a fair sized entrv, iqyS being forward. The quality on the whole was gcod. there being a fair numb" ;| finished ewes" and Wethers for- '"'use sold under keen co >•• n! ion, and ptices showed an advance on last sale's rates. Fume wethers 30 s to 44s 3d. medium 33s to ;>, s 6d, lifflit 27s to 30s. extra prime ewes to 35sprime 25s to. 28*, medium 22s to 24s od. light from Ijr* upwards. was a good, entry ot fat pig*, 142 being torward. Prices for prime bacon pigs were firm, out porkers were easier. There was a large, entry of store pigs, and pr... >s for -these were easier. Fat Lambs—There was ft *vr*u varding, 50c) being forward. these met with good competition. and prices were firm at late ruling rates. Oats—The maiket remains firm, and there is a good enquiry tor heavy Cartons suitable for milling purposes at up to 3s 2d on trucks, country sidings. Light and discoloured lines, however, are dull of sale. Wheat—There are still a few samples coming' tc> hand, and millers will take anv lines suitable at the 101 lowing prices: 5 s od for Tuscan, 6s tor Hunters, and 6s id for Velvet, on trucks, country sidings. Potatoes —Consignments have easeu off during the last week and there is a rather better demand for prime tables-which a»<> bringing' up to AS, ex Sjiare, t>unedin. Blisrhtfd ones however, are difficult to quit. Rabbitskins—We. held our usua fortnightly sale on Tuesday last, and a fair sized catalogue was offered to a good attendance ->f buvors.
