Letters ami Letter Cards. Letters within New Zealand, Id for the first 4ozs or fraction thereof, and for each succeeding 2ozs or fraction thereof. For United States of America, Id for each oz. or fraction thereof, to include Pago Pago and Hawaiian Islands, Porto Rico and Alaska. For United Kingdom, British possessions, and other places enumerated in schedule at Post Office, Id for each ok. or fraction thereof, for places not named, for each oz., and IJd for ea«h succeeding oz. Newspapers, Within the Dominion, l-2d for each newspaper to Australia, South Sea Islands Canada, etc. To United Kingdom, Id by direct steamer, by other routes, Id for first Bozs, and 1-2* l each additional 2ozs. To other countries, for the first 4ozs, Id, each additional 2ozs, l-2d. The weight of newspapers is restricted to 20ozs for each copy, for each lOozs or fraction thereof an additional l-2d. Postal Notes. One shilling, Is 6d, 2s. 2s6d, l-2d, 3s to 6 Id : 10s up to 20s, 2d. Magazin s M igazines (not registered), all places k ach 2ozs. Magazines (regi&tared) with ithe Dominion, Id for each 16ozs or fraction thereof; Australia (< xoept Queensland and West Australia) under 2ozs, l-2d; 2ozs to Bozs, Id; each additional 4ozs, l-2d; Queensland, West Australia, and other places, l-2d each 2ozs.
Commercial Papers. Town, for accounts, etc., l-2d if not exceeding 1-2oz. or Id for first 40j5.«, and l-2d for each succefiding 2ozs. Inland, Id for first 4 ozs, and J-2d for each succeeding 2ozs. All other places '2\i\ for first lOozs, and l-2d for each succeeding 2ozs Reply Coupons. As a means of enab'ling the sender of a letter addressed to a place abroad to prepay the postage on a reply, the Department issues reply coupons on payment of a fee of 21-2 d. These coupons may bo exchanged for a postage stamp of the value of 2]-2d in any country which adopts the scheme. Post Cards. Inland, single, I-2d, reply Id ;al othe places Id and 'J<.\. Parcel Post. Maximum weight. 111b; greatest length 3ft; greatest length sod width combined 6ft, Inland, 4d for first lb, and 2d for each succeeding lb or fraction thereof. United Kingdom, not exceeding 31b. Is; not exceeding 71b, 2s; not exceeding 111b, 3s. Australian States 8d for first lb, and 6d for every succeeding lb or fraction thereof up to 111b. Registration. Universal fee of 2d to all places. The sender of a registered article may obtain acknowledgment of its duo receipt on payment of 2 l-2d. Patterns and Samples. Inland, not excoedin" 2ozs, l-2d: over oozs, same as for other places, All other places, not exceeding 30/,s, Id ; every additional 2ozs, l-2d. Money Orders.
