Visiting Committee’s reported everything in first-class order with the [ exception of leakage in the roof of | Matron’s room ; also that the bath in [ the men’s ward required re-enamelling ! and rising at one end, and that a large i window pane is required for one room. | —Received, and left with the Chairman to get matters attended to. Accounts totalling £l6 3a 4d were passed for payment. The tenders for water were then considered, and after discussion it was resolved that the matter should stand in abeyance for three months. The requisition as drawn up by the sub-committee comprising the following items was considered and approved: —Liabilities, £47 16s sd; surgeon, £250 ; wardsman and matron, £llO ; special nurses, £25 ; secretary, £80; servants, £10; rations and stores, £120; fire and light, £33 ; Med. and Med. Com. £65; burials, £2O ; bedding and clothing, £3O; furniture, &c, £2O; printing, advertising and stationery, &c, £2O ; insurance, £ls; rent of office, £3 ; laundry, washing and incidental, £45 ; W.R. Maintenance, £B6 ; labor, £75; repairs and alterations, £SO; fencing and grounds, £10; surgical instruments, £lO, Total, £IOBB 16s sd. Estimated revenue, £6lB 12s 7d. Balance required from Board, £4OO 3s lOd.
