I Messrs Stronach, Morris and Co. report for the week ending 3rd May, as follows : Fat Cattle.— 242 yarded, and there was a good demand for prime bullocks, hut other sorts show a decline of from . 10s to 15s per head. Fat Lambs. —so penned, and prices j were quite up to last week’s, viz. — Extra good IGs to 17s Gd, medium 12s 9d to : l4s, light to 11s Gd. Pins.—lGo yarded, and prices were good for all sorts. No sales since last report. : Tallow and Fat. —No change to report in prices, which arc as follows:—Best rendered tallow 18s to 20s per cwt., medium to good IGs Gd to 17s Gd, inferior tallow 14s to 16s, best caul fat 14s to los, rough fat 10s to 13s Gd. Oats.— There is a good demand for prime samples, which are scarce, consignments being slow of coming to hand. Prime milling Is 11 ’-d to 2s, good to best feed Is 104 d to Is I lid, inferior and medium Is 8d to Is lOd per bushel. Wheat. —Prime milling, especially Tuscan, is in good demand, and there is also a fair enquiry for fowl wheat, but medium has only a moderate sale. Prime milling 3s 2£d to 3s medium do. 3s Id to 3s 2d, best whole fowl wheat 2s lid to 3s, broken and damaged 2s 8d to 2s lOd per bushel. Potatoes. —Prime linos of Derweuts and white sorts continue in good demand, and prices are as follows :—Prime Derwonts and white sorts £lO 10s to £ll,

medium do. £9 10s to £lO, other sorts £8 10s to £9 per ton. Chaff. —Prime quality is in most favor, and there is a good enquiry for old chaff, but medium is harder to place. Prime oaten sheaf £3 7s (id to £3 10s (choice to £3 12s 6d) medium to good £3 to £3 5s per ton. 0 -
