Taraas Branch of the Upper Clutha Railway League.

(From ouu own Cokuespo'ndext.) A meeting of the above League was held on Saturday, 7th April, when the following members were present: Messrs K. Munro (President), Dickie, Nicol, J. Mcßae, McKay, McLaughlan, M. Mcßae, R, Poison, I). Munro, and 8. Munro, The minutes of last previous meeting were read and confirmed. CORRESPONDENCE. Letters from Messrs MacPherson, Fraser, and Bennett, M.H.R.'s, promising their support to the continuation of the line from Clyde to Hawea. Also letters from the Cromwell, Pembroke, and the Dunedin Leagues on general matters in connection with pushing on the work, etc.—Received. After a large amount of detail work was gone through, the usual vote to the chair closed the meeting.
