(Before J. S. Hklcson, Esq., Warden.) Friday, June sth. applications. Goldmining Lease.—V. Pyke and another, Bendigo Gully. Objected to by the New Cromwell Company. Mr Turton for applicants, Mr Wilson for objectors. After considerable argument on both sides, his Worship intimated his intention of granting the application ; the objection was then withdrawn and certificate ordered to issue. Deposit lodged by objectors to be returned in full to objectors' solicitor. \ Water Races. Felix Fox and another, Brown's Gully, Criffel—adjourned ; W. Barlow, first creek north of Mt. Pisa—granted. Dam-bank and Reservoir.—W. Anderson, Bannockburn —granted. Extended Claim.—T. Mitchell and another, west bank of Clutha River—granted. Tail Race. —A. M'Laren, Inglis Creek, Criffel, adjourned to next court day. Protections. —J. Werner, R. Varcoe, J. Stuart, of Five-mile Creek ; C. E. Gudgeon, Bannockburn ; A. Sutherland, StouewallCreek, Nevis; E. Bracegirdle, Clutha River—granted. Prospecting Area.—G. Ross, Upper Clutha—adjourned to next court day, as was also a similar application by Henry Tobin, Upper Clutha.

Residence Area.—J. Gray, between Albert Town and Mt. Iron—granted.
