MAGISTRATE’S COURT

(Bejore J. S. Hickson, Esq., R. M.) Friday, April 17th. Stai’ of the East Quartz-mining Company v. George Jenour, for whom Mr Turton appeared, Claim, £9 7s 6d. This was an application made by defendant’s solicitor to take evidence under the “ Resident Magistrates Act, 1870.” The evidence of Jas. Fleming, Clerk of Court, and Geo. Jenour, taken and forwarded to Resident Magistrate’s Court, Dunedin.
